Veloty: Growth-oriented automation

Better Decisions Mean Better Growth

Veloty faced a very specific challenge during the last quarter of 2025: driving growth without relying exclusively on increasing order volume. The focus was not on attracting more traffic, but on making better use of existing traffic, improving the value of each purchase, and activating traditionally less profitable business opportunities.

The starting point was to gain a deep understanding of the business model, customer behavior, and the actual decision-making moments. From there, automation had to shift from being a tactical measure to becoming a strategic business lever.

Driving Business Growth with Insight and Data

The strategy was designed with a clear objective: to directly impact the business, especially on days that are traditionally less profitable. To achieve this, very specific marketing automation actions were defined, aligned with actual user behavior and key decision-making moments.

The results showed that growth did not depend on increasing the number of orders, but rather on improving their value. During November and December, revenue grew by nearly 30% year-over-year, even with a similar or lower order volume, thanks to a sustained increase in the average order value.

One of the most significant lessons learned was the activation of slow days. Following the specific actions, these days became one of the main drivers of incremental growth, doubling their order volume compared to the same period the previous year.

Automations (strategic emails, contextual activations, abandoned cart recovery, and cross-selling initiatives) had a direct and measurable impact on customer behavior. They not only improved conversion rates but also redistributed demand, bolstering both peak and off-peak days without compromising the customer experience.

Beyond the immediate impact, the analysis yielded a clear conclusion: customer acquisition works, but retention is the true lever for medium-term growth, setting the strategic course for the next phase of the project.

This case demonstrates that when automation is designed with discernment and business acumen, it ceases to be a tactical move and becomes a real tool for growth.
